Clean room, staff are very helpful and aspeaks English, walking distance to city and places of interest. Had a wonderful stay there. This hotel is right in the heart of the Gothic quarter behind the cathedral. The cathedral itself is beautiful with bars and restaurants all around with lots of quaint streets with a buzzing atmosphere. The hotel seems to have recently been refurbished which is very tasteful and clean and the room was very spacious with a lovely large bathroom.
The hotel is in a beautiful historic building with a typical balcony. Cannot fault this hotel, it was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was close to everything and rooms were very large for European standards. It was all very clean and the staff was kind!
Superb hotel with direct access to everything within a very short walk. Lots of super restaurants and coffee shops right on the door step. As you exit the hotel there is a small road on your right hand side which leads to some very nice shopping plus the department store. El Corte Englais. Sagrada Familia is a must but book ahead and also the City Tour bus gives you a fantastic trip if your are short of time or your stay is limited.
We only stayed one night but it was accommodating. We traveled with a 1 yr old and they provided a crib instantly. A bit noisy but that didn't really bother us. The shower was our least favorite, not a fan of the handheld sprayer but it worked. Overall a nice hotel in a great location priced right. This hotel is within walking distance to a lot of sights in Barcelona. The interior decoration is very modern. Very close to the hotel you will find several good and in some cases also cheap restaurants.
The hotel is just a few minutes walk from two different underground stations. The closest stop for the sightseeing buses is just about five minutes walk away from the hotel.
